This July come along and join in with our summer festival for Bearwood and Smethwick. The Difference will include street art and drama, dance, folk culture, food, real life stories and music as we explore the question “What difference does Jesus make?”
The Festival will run from the 29th July -the 2nd of August with a little bit of help from our OM ELCO team who each day will be out and about in Bearwood and Cape Hill.
There will be a Festival Café each evening (Thursday and Friday: 7pm -9pm, Saturday -in conjuction with Nueva Vida- from 5pm -7pm and Sunday in conjunction with Sunday Night Church – from 6pm -pm). The Festival Café will feature live music, drama, people’s life stories, a Bible talk and lots to eat and drink.
Saturday 1st August will be the highlight for many with a Latin style Fiesta including guest Mexican and Ecuadorian acts. This will be at the Chapel from 2:30pm but don’t forget that the Community Café will be open as usual during the morning so you can arrive early to ensure your place at the front of the crowd.
You can also join us on Sunday morning at either 9:30am or 11:15am where we will be exploring the theme “The Difference: Who will be King?” from Mark’s Gospel.
