“The Word Became Flesh”Faithroots Live 19th May

Our next Faithroots Live Day is on the 19th May. This time we will be exploring the following wonderful themes:

Why I can call God “Father”

Who is Jesus – his divine identity

Why did God the Son come to earth?

How can I know that God really is Love?

We will be thinking about why the Doctrine of the Trinity is Good News and how we respond to challenges about this from other faiths such as Islam and sects including the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

We will be looking at how this Doctrine is good news for those who come from broken and dysfunctional homes as well as looking at a number of pastoral scenarios.

We will draw from historical sources going back to the early church as well as contemporary thinking but most of all, we will be seeing how what we believe about God is completely dependent upon his sufficient revelation in Scripture.

Join us from 9am for a 9:30am start.  Tea, coffee and cake will be provided throughout the day. Please bring your own packed lunch. We will aim to finish by 2pm

Once again, Bob has kindly offered to cook breakfast for those who would like it!  Please let us know via the contact form if you would.
